Hi, I’m Michelle, Welcome

Michelle Norris is living her passion as a National Board Certified Integrative Health and Wellness Coach, trained by Duke Integrative Medicine. She also holds certifications in yoga e-RYT 500 and mindfulness along with extensive education in nutritional therapy. She has a bachelors of business in Marketing and Management. Michelle imparts health coaching services to individuals, groups, and corporations with a focus on one on one (1:1) wellness coaching, corporate wellness, and lifestyle optimization. Michelle’s primary goal is to help clients develop new neuronal connections and pathways while visualizing new possibilities which leads to concreting new behaviors and mindsets. She dynamically engages and collaborates with all aspects of 1:1 coaching, workshops, lunch and learns, and group coaching. She implements corporate wellness consulting services to multifaceted clientele. Michelle’s tailored coaching programs target specific, measurable, and replicable outcomes by giving clients the tools in any given category; nutritional therapy, exercise and movement, sleep hygiene, communication, relationships, stress mitigation, professional and personal development, medical diagnosis plans, and overall general development of healthy sustainable habits. She is particularly adept in partnering with you in discovering, defining, and curating your inspired lifestyle. She has an innate ability to see potential, purpose, and worth in others and enjoys evoking a whole-person approach to wellness. Michelle has been described as authentic, curious, and compassionate when it comes to percolating sustainable solutions to individual wellness challenges. Her current schedule is filled with clients like you, designing wellness blueprints. On any given day you can find Michelle experimenting with wellness from cooking, reading, practicing yoga, interesting ways to meditate, and learning the value of self-care. She finds joy simply sitting on her porch swing with her husband where she is loving on her girls, dogs, chickens, and a puffed-off hedgehog.

Coaching helped me identify small steps each week to work toward. Michelle helped me set up realistic steps with strategies and measurable objectives as well as alternative strategies if “life gets in the way.” Before I would set up steps that that were not always realistic and/or measurable and had no alternative strategies. Michelle also helped me recognize my strengths and my wins. Before, I often overlooked these and felt defeated. After coaching, I was encouraged by being made aware of these qualities and accomplishments (however small). I loved the Wellness lunches! It was great to have someone come into the firm and address things like stress, nutrition, and mind-body awareness, especially in this crazy time of COVID; we are all at home and it can feel overwhelming.
